Chris set up handmade chocolate business from home in November 2014 and since has become an established luxury chocolate maker in the northwest.

In her first year her company finalists in the Great British Spiced Chocolate Challenge, alongside big names such as Rococo Chocolates. In 2017 she was proud to receive a gold star from the Guild of Fine Foods for our blackcurrant and star anise bon bon. She is innovative and passionate and has steadily grown her chocolate business. She has regular ‘pop ups’ at local farmers markets and events and in the last 2 years began to regularly supply local retail outlets. She is an advocate for ‘ being local’ and uses local products when she can, from other local, small businesses such as I heart jam, Crankshaft brewery and Batch Gin.

She is a keen supporter of other small businesses and local charities, Chris goes into local schools to give talks and demos with out charge – spreading the chocolate word.
