Community Film Art and Media C.I.C. are delighted to announce that 18 participants have signed up for the innovative Art Mehfil (meaning a gathering where good activities are shared). Accredited by the international organisation ASDAN, students successfully completing the course will be awarded with a Certificate with up to six credits.
One of the tutors for the course is the amazing Maryam Ahmad, recognized for her ability to help others release their innate artistic talents. The results are often astonishing.
In addition, there will be drop-in sessions by notable experts in their field, including Winky Kur, with her fascination with colours; Sohini Roychowdhury, the world renowned dance artist; plus regular sessions from wellbeing and relaxation expert Lesley Kelly.
This holistic course will help enable all its participants to develop skills and their confidence at a time when they need it most.
