The team at Community Film Art & Media C.I.C. (CFAM) are thrilled to be awarded ESF funding by WEA for the Creative Opportunity training programme. This innovative learning approach will enable individuals not currently in work or education to learn new skills and build their confidence.
The courses include both art and cooking, and are accredited by ASDAN, the internationally renowned education charity whose programmes are delivered by over 3,000 secondary schools, special schools, colleges and alternative education providers. CFAM is proud to be one of their awarding centres.
Participants in the Creative Opportunity programme will be supported to move into employment or further education, and all will be awarded an ASDAN Certificate if they successfully complete their training. Each graduate from their chosen course will get up to six credits, that will help them gain entry to new opportunities.
During lockdown restrictions, CFAM will use a dedicated Zoom Pro platform to deliver the training and interact with the participants.
