As part of our ongoing ‘Mehndi Reimagined’ project, CFAM presented ‘Christmas Baubles Decoration with Hema, in which Christmas decorations inspired by the magical art of Mehndi were created. Building on what had been demonstrated in previous sessions on a wide variety of patterns, including Mandana designs. Having previously learned how to apply circles, swirls and floral patterns, viewers were able to apply this knowledge to create Christmas decorations to baubles. Available from craft shops, these baubles could be used do create artistic and colourful seasonal decorations. The application of colourful ‘gems’ were the base for addition of a variety of beautiful Christmas-themed designs.
